Janis has worked in the field of creativity and healing for over 25 years. She is a Registered Art Therapist, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, yoga teacher and certified Breathwork facilitator. She is committed to her own art-making, poetry writing, yoga and mediation practices and deeply aware of how creativity, healing and body work are interconnected. Janis has been fortunate to live in beautiful places where she has had abundant opportunities to connect to the land and her natural surroundings. Her time spent in nature and adventuring in the mountains spills into her work and helps support those she works with. She believes nature is the greatest healer and brings practices that incorporate nature’s teachings into her sessions. She hopes to use her experience and skills to help others reconnect to mind, body and spirit so they may find greater connection to themselves, each other and the land they live on.
